		<description>My first encounter with this tradition was at Penn Hillel when I joked in the handwashing line that chicken isn't fleischig and the guy in front of me replied "and turkey isn't kosher".

I since researched it and read that article.  In 2002 my then girlfriend asked me about the laws of kashrut for birds, and I pulled out the article from my binder and gave it to her.  I was so proud to have such a cool article easily accessible.  I love the way the argumentation in this and other articles in that journal works.  It's great that it's available online now.</description>
